4 tips to brighten up outside space

Make the most of all ares of your home by sprucing up the outside space.

Choosing to call a high rise condominium your home is becoming increasingly popular due to the convenience and location it provides. Living in this style of property does mean that you trade in on having your own garden, however the vast majority of condominiums come complete with outside space whether that is in the form of a small balcony or terrace. Consider one of our four easy options if you are not sure what to do with this space.

1. Add furniture.

Regardless of how much space you have you can make the most of your outdoor area by adding furniture. Whether this is a bench, table and chairs or even some comfortable outdoor cushions, make this an inviting place to relax.

2. Go green.

Add greenery whether that is plants or shrubs to make your outside space a true urban jungle. You don’t need to be a superior gardener to achieve this as many plants and flowers can be purchased already placed in pots meaning that all you need to remember to do is to water them!

3. Decorate.

Decoration isn’t just for inside. Paint one wall in an interesting colour, add a mirror or choose some lighting suitable for outside to create an atmospheric place to enjoy when the sun goes down. Not only will it make the space more appealing but it will also ensure that your outside space is easy on they eye when you are admiring it from inside.

4. Cheat!

Fake flowers and fake grass have come a long way over the years. No longer are they plastic and, well, fake looking, but rather very authentic that often you would need to look closely to identify otherwise. If you travel a lot, or don’t have a good track record for looking after your green friends, then make it simple on yourself and choose these. Fake grass will be comfortable underfoot and pick some flower boxes and fill them to the top. Simple as that!
